Former Gillingham winger Andrew Barcham has sealed his move to League 1 outfit Scunthorpe United this morning, Tuesday. Barcham was one of a handful of Gillingham players handed new deals from last season but decided to Snub the Kent outfit and head for higher divisions.
He is Scunny's second signing of the day with Accrington Stanley's Jimmy Ryan also heading to Glanford Park slightly earlier this morning.
Gillingham's thread bare squad is likely to be welcomed by some "exciting" new signings later this week as chairman Paul Scally looks likely to finalise a certain few deals with AFC Wimbledon's star striker Danny Kedwell edging ever so much nearer to a Gills shirt for next season.
